HOLESAWS & TCT CUTTERS
Holesaws are popular with tradesmen & handymen alike, used primarily for softer materials like wood etc, however can cut steels as well. The holesaw is a round saw blade to cut circular holes in thin wall materials.
Here at Miller's Tooling we can supply 8% cobalt holesaws which can handle steels, as well as stainless steel. Most of our holesaw range now comes in Bi-Metal holesaws, which give hardened HSS teeth laser welded on a spring steel band, making the holesaws more durable.
Ideally when cutting holes into steels & stainless steel we recommend to use TCT (tungsten carbide cutters), which are basically holesaws with brazed carbide cutting teeth.
Many sizes of individual holesaws & TCT cutters are readily avail, and several brands can be supplied to you. As well as pilot drills & arbors to suit, we have many different holesaw sets to choose from.
